Food Pantry Volunteers

About Us
Carver Center is the primary community-based organization in the village of Port Chester, New York. The Center offers programs and resources designed to meet the educational, recreational, cultural and civic needs of children, youth and adults, with a particular focus on meeting the needs of underprivileged youth.

How You Can Help - Food Pantry Volunteers
Carver Center’s Food Pantry is open Monday-Friday and volunteers are needed to stock and organize shelves, sort through donations and deliveries.

Up to 2 volunteers are needed Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for 2 hours. Volunteers must commit to at least 2 shifts per month.

Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
  • Monday/Wednesday: 9am-1pm
  • Tuesday/Thursday: 4pm-8pm
  • Friday: 12pm-4pm
