Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Association

The Huguenot and New Rochelle Historical Association owns and administers the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum and Sophia Brewster One-room Schoolhouse. Our mission is to preserve and perpetuate the rich history of the City of New Rochelle, with particular emphasis on its original Huguenot settlers and founding father Thomas Paine through school student education, adult education and family and community minded events. We're not just Revolutionary, We're NY History Strong!
