Opportunities for Youth
Volunteering is a great way for you to grow from new experiences, develop new skills, expand your worldview, and use your time to make a difference. According to PrepScholar.com, "Admissions officers also love to see community service on college applications. Having community service experience means you’re passionate about making a difference in the world and are ready to take action and be involved."
Whether you're looking to volunteer with friends, complete volunteer service hour requirements, or support a cause or passion that you feel strongly about, Volunteer New York! is here to help you on your volunteer journey. You can search for opportunities based on the minimum age requirements:
- Opportunities for Age 13
- Opportunities for Ages 14-15
- Opportunities for Ages 16-17
- Opportunities for Youth and Families (all ages)
IMPORTANT: Many school-issued email addresses do not allow communications from outside of the school's network. To ensure that Volunteer New York! and its partner nonprofits can reach you about your volunteer projects, we recommend using your own personal email address.
