Volunteer New York! Executive Director, Alisa Kesten, Recognized at 50 Over 50 Awards from NY Nonprofit Media
Congratulations to all 50 prominent NY nonprofit leaders over 50 who were honored by New York Nonprofit Media for their impact and betterment of New York state, including our very own local changemaker-in-chief Alisa Harris Kesten. Since 2005 as a graduate of Leadership Westchester, then as a board member, then board chair, and as Executive Director since 2010, Alisa Kesten has rewrote the trajectory of New York volunteerism, one quality local connection at a time. Inspiring many to believe in volunteerism and value its purpose in a strong, smart, and healthy community.
Included in the 50 honorees was Damyn Kelly, President of Lutheran Social Services of New York, who also graduated Leadership Westchester in 2005 with Alisa. As well as Kathleen Halas, Executive Director of the Child Care Council of Westchester, Inc..
