2018 Mamaroneck Fresh Market
Open Door Family Medical Centers, in partnership with Feeding Westchester (formerly the Food Bank of Westchester) and the Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force, hosts a massive giveaway of over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce donated by Hunts on the last Saturday of each month!
Volunteers set up tables, unload the produce from large pallets, and pre-bag smaller items and distribute Fresh fruit and vegetables to those-in-need. Volunteers clean up the parking area and sort piles of empty cartons, crates, and pallets for recycling.
Must be able to Lift 20 lbs. Spanish Language helpful (but not required)
Volunteer for one or more shift!
