2020 Social Media Volunteers (Virtual)

Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK) is dedicated to connecting the community to resources regarding youth mental health, prevention of substance abuse, and opportunities for thoughtful service. ASK is very active on social media and it now needs the help of Virtual Volunteers to spread the word about COVID-19 information and resources, tips for parents and teens, events, and breaking news. By engaging at least once a week, the Virtual Volunteer will help relay important resources for kids, teens, and adults throughout the community.

• Follow, like, comment, share, mention, repost, and retweet ASK’s social media (view Digital Marketing Support Guide for more information).
• Send ASK articles, links, and other resources that pertain to COVID-19, youth mental health, substance use/abuse, or opportunities for thoughtful service that you think your friends, family, and community would benefit from.
• View ASK's COVID-19 resources guide, choose a resource that you find valuable/helpful, and create a social media post about it, such as an instagram post or story, a Facebook post, or a tweet. Don't forget to tag ASK so it can share it as well!

Engagement can occur on a weekly basis. Volunteers can pick and choose items that speak to them personally and that they think can benefit their friends, families, and online communities.
