2022 Volunteers to Play With Children
Westchester Jewish Community Services' Tarrytown Parent Child Center is looking for volunteers to assist its program staff with hands-on play activities for young children whose parents are attending programs at the center. Volunteers will be provided curriculum and guided by program staff members, and they should be comfortable interacting with families and children under the age of 5. Spanish-language skills are a huge plus!
The Parent Child Center has been running for over 20 years and serving families facing diverse obstacles to educational success. Following the PIWI (Parents Interacting With Infants) Model, it aims to give parents the confidence and competence to support their children's early learning through joyful play.
This opportunity takes place on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Express interest below!

WJCS Early Childhood Centers are for families with children up to age 5 who want to support their child's early learning while connecting with other families in their communities in New Rochelle, Tarrytown, and Yonkers.
