Arts Survey Volunteers

ArtsWestchester supports the arts in Westchester through leadership, funding, programming, education, advocacy, audience cultivation, and professional development. It works to ensure the accessibility and diversity of the arts, at every level for every resident and visitor in Westchester County.

The Americans for the Arts is conducting an Economic Impact Study to demonstrate& the value of the arts and culture as an economic driver for the County. This study will help highlight the ongoing social, educational, and artistic contributions that are at the core of vibrant communities—and volunteers are needed!

Volunteers will work in teams to help collect information for the study. They will be assigned to attend local arts and cultural events (for free!) such as concerts, exhibitions, and theatre productions, where they'll ask event attendees a specific list of survey questions and record the answers in a document. This crucial information will help Americans for the Arts to understand how the arts impact the economic profile of the County—and help Westchester to make an investment into the arts.
