2022 Farm Volunteers
Ever wanted to be a farmer for a day? Join Hilltop Hanover Farm on Tuesday mornings and work alongside farmers and field crew as they weed by hand and with tools in the growing fields. This role takes place outdoors, rain or shine, and requires volunteers to conduct some lifting, pulling, bending, squatting, standing, and kneeling.
- Bring a refillable water bottle
- Wear a hat or or sunscreen, even on cloudy days
- Protect against insects by wearing bug spray, lotion, or long protective clothing
- Wear comfortable and lightweight clothing, such as long pants and sleeves, that can get dirty
- Wear closed-toe or sturdy shoes
