Grant Writer
Wartburg Adult Care Community is seeking a dedicated Grant Writer to join its team and play a crucial role in reviving its creative arts and lifelong learning programs.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities that support Wartburg's mission of providing quality healthcare and housing solutions for seniors
- Collaborate with program managers to gather information for grant proposals, specifically focusing on the revival of creative arts programs and lifelong learning initiatives
- Develop compelling grant proposals, emphasizing the importance of music, art, and dance therapy in promoting holistic senior well-being
- Maintain a deep understanding of Wartburg's senior healthcare and housing programs to effectively communicate their impact and the critical need for creative arts and lifelong learning opportunities
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with funders and grant-making organizations that align with the organization's goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the realm of senior healthcare and housing
- Strong research skills to identify and assess potential funding sources that support creative arts and lifelong learning programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and convey the importance of music, art, and dance therapy in senior well-being
