2022 Men's Group Leaders
Wartburg Adult Care Community is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to lead its weekly men's group. The men's group typically gathers about 5-10 men to share what is happening in their lives and receive support and/or guidance to best navigate their situations. The purpose of this men's group is to create a sense of community through a common bond of manhood, become involved in discussions around male issues, and connect through hobbies and shared interests.
In helping the men better their lives, some activities and discussions will be centered around mental and physical wellness, personal growth and development, hobbies, interests, and mentorship. This group is designed to create a sense of camaraderie, fun lifelong learning, challenge, and support.
The men's group meets each Monday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for adults or retirees who want to positively impact the men served by the Wartburg Adult Day Care program. Express interest below!
