2022 Project Joy! Toy Distribution Volunteers
People to People is the largest non-profit hunger relief organization in Rockland County serving more than 4,000 people struggling with food insecurity each month. Almost half of the people who rely on its food pantry are children.
Every year, People to People's Project Joy! program provides a bit of holiday cheer to the families who rely on its food pantry. For those who are struggling to put food on the table, it may be impossible to purchase gifts for their children. Project Joy! enables generous donors from the community to "adopt" one of these families and purchase gifts for the children so that they have something to open as they celebrate the holidays.
People to People is looking for volunteers to help distribute these holiday gifts to the families in the community. This is the perfect project for families, students, and colleagues.
