Board Members
Que Paso Latinx is a Latinx-founded and -led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Westchester County that encourages Latinx communities to put mental health first—one paso at a time!
Que Paso Latinx is looking for passionate changemakers who are interested in serving on its board. Board Members are critical for the smooth operations of Que Paso Latinx's success.
Ideal candidates are:
- Comfortable sharing their personal expertise and knowledge on mental health in the Latinx community (including their own experiences, family experiences, etc.)
- Comfortable meeting and speaking with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Active and confident participants during team meetings
- Excited to join a team of innovators who are paving the way in how the Latinx communities perceive mental health
- Go-getters with a hands-on approach
- Able to commit 8-10 hours per month (this includes monthly board meetings)
- Have skillsets in one or more of the following (or similar) areas: Secretary, Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, Treasurer
- Spanish-speaking and professional mental health experience are not required
