Virtual Volunteer Coordinator

The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau is looking for a Virtual Volunteer Coordinator to assist with scheduling volunteers for its after-school enrichment program. This opportunity is ongoing, but the volunteer will be most active during the school year. Duties include coordinating and scheduling volunteers for the Safe Haven and Girls Embracing Maturity (GEM) after-school enrichment programs, which meet Monday through Friday between 3-5 p.m. at three elementary schools in Mount Vernon.

The Volunteer Coordinator does not need to travel or attend the program, but they can schedule volunteers virtually by telephone and email. Organization and follow-up skills are important! The time commitment is about one hour per week. Express interest below to learn more.
