2023 Classroom Mentors for Elementary School Students - White Plains
Junior Achievement of New York is looking for volunteer Classroom Mentors to work with elementary students at the Church Street School in White Plains. Classroom Mentors will spend the day in the classroom helping children explore the basics of money, jobs, and business.
Available shifts:
- Friday, 3/24 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (1st- and 2nd-grade classes available)
- Friday, 3/31 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (4th- and 5th-grade classes available)
Classroom Mentors are granted an hourlong break for lunch. All interested volunteers MUST register and pass a screening before being confirmed to move forward as a Classroom Mentor. Registration for each shift ends 3 days prior to the project start date to allow for the screening process. Express interest in one or more dates below to get started!
