2023 Art Installation Team
The Hammond Museum is looking for a few volunteers to help prepare its galleries and install art exhibitions. Tasks include spackling and painting; installing framed paintings, photographs, and works of art on pedestals; and deinstalling the displays once the exhibitions are complete. Volunteers may also assist with preparing labels, receipting artwork upon arrival, and hanging wall panels. Projects take place for a few days at a time over the course of the exhibition season from March to November. Experience is a plus, but not required!
