Opportunity Details

Gardening Volunteers - Bedford Hills Elementary School

Join D.I.G. Farm's new initiative, the Westchester Local Food Project, at Bedford Hills Elementary School. Volunteers will participate in all garden activities including planting, harvesting, and maintaining the garden beds. Volunteers can enjoy some produce to take home and the rest will be sent to the Interfaith Food Pantry as fresh produce or prepared meals. Wear comfy, weather-appropriate clothes that can get a little dirty, and bring sunscreen and a snack!
