2023 Spring Planting Day for Teen Volunteers

Join Westchester Youth Alliance's Spring Planting Day at Hilltop Hanover Farms! Teen volunteers will be assisting with:

  • Weeding
  • Collecting, testing, and sorting native seeds
  • Planting
  • Harvesting and washing ripe vegetables to be donated to Second Chance Foods
  • Transplanting
  • Feeding animals

This opportunity is open to high school students between the ages of 13-18. Volunteers can taste the food as they harvest! Bring a water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes (not sandals). All proceeds will be donated to local food pantries, and there will be free snacks for all participants.
