Operations Volunteer

Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, a non-profit organization that aims to address hunger and food insecurity in the local community, is seeking volunteers to support critical operational issues.

The Operations Volunteer supports the organization's mission of ending food insecurity in the community by assisting in the distribution of food to Pantry guests; assisting with food inventory management, including receiving donations, checking expiration dates, and restocking shelves; and helping to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pantry. This volunteer will be required to lift and carry boxes of food up to 50 pounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to support the mission of the Mount Kisco Food Pantry and end food insecurity in the community is essential.
