2023 Reading Together/Leyendo Juntos Volunteers
The Ossining Public Library Children's Room is hosting a partnered reading program called Reading Together/Leyendo Juntos on Wednesday afternoons from June 28 to August 9. Volunteers are needed to read, listen, and play early literacy games, one-on-one, with children entering grades 1 to 5. Bilingual volunteers are most welcome!
The program will run from 2-3:30 p.m. and volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early, as well as attend a training session on Wednesday, June 21 at 7 p.m. Arrangements can be made if volunteers are unable to attend this training session. This is a great opportunity for students and retired volunteers. Express interest below!
