Tarrytown Vine Squad

The Tarrytown Environmental Advisory Council is seeking volunteers to join its Volunteer Vine Squad to help remove invasive vines around the Tarrytown Lakes and in public parks. Volunteers will be cutting back overgrown brush, trimming branches, weed-whacking, and picking up sticks and fallen branches.

Volunteers should dress for the weather and bring leather work gloves, sturdy shoes or boots, and loppers to cut the vines. TEAC can provide extra work gloves and loppers if needed.
