International Coastal Cleanup Day at Marshlands Conservancy
Join Westchester Parks Foundation for International Coastal Cleanup Day—one of the world's largest annual preservation and protection events and volunteer efforts for our oceans, waves, and beaches!
Volunteers are needed to help remove litter and debris from Marshlands Conservancy's trails, sandy beaches, and salt marshes. Tools, work gloves, and trash bags will be provided, but volunteers should bring their own water bottles and snacks. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty, as well as sunscreen, bug spray, and a hat.
Registration for this opportunity closes 24 hours prior to the project start time.
Westchester Parks Foundation engages the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use, and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails, and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system.
