Vet2Vet Volunteers
Calling all veterans! Social isolation can be a struggle for many veterans, but a friendly phone call from a fellow vet can lift their spirits.
As part of the Vet2Vet volunteer program, veterans are needed to make check-in calls to their fellow veterans. Vet2Vet Callers will ask how their fellow veterans are doing and if they need anything (i.e. assistance or support). They'll then record any requests for referrals, and they can share stories, too.
Calls will be made from the Vet2Vet office twice a week. Express interest below to learn more!
Vet2Vet is a peer-to-peer support and suicide prevention program offering social activities, support gatherings, and mentorship for veterans, active duty military, reservists, and their families and caregivers in settings throughout Westchester County.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
