Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer

G.O.O.D. For Girls is seeking a trustworthy individual who is willing to serve as its Treasurer or Chief Financial Officer on a volunteer basis to oversee the finances. The ideal candidate has the time to devote to the responsibilities of overseeing the finances of G.O.O.D. For Girls and attend the monthly scheduled meetings.

The duties of the Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer are (included but not limited to):

• Oversee the finances of G.O.O.D. For Girls
• Help develop multi-year operating budgets that integrate strategic plan objectives and initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate the budget
• Assist in setting financial goals and funding strategies to achieve them
• Ensure policies and procedures for financial transactions are adhered to and update when necessary
• Schedule and oversee the annual audit
• Present the audit report to the Board of Directors
• Prepare and file form 990
• Prepare, mail, and file the 1099-misc
• Handle the accounts receivables and accounts payables
• Handle the G.O.O.D. For Girls payroll through ADP
• Assist in applying for and writing grants
• Keep track of grant spending
• Help build a finance committee
• Attend monthly meetings
• Present financial report at monthly meetings (generated through QuickBooks)
