2023 Westchester Heart Walk
The Westchester Heart Walk is a family-friendly event where friends, family members, and coworkers join more than a million people in more than 300 communities across the country to take a stand against heart disease and stroke—the number one and number five causes of death of Americans. This event helps fund the valuable lifesaving research, education, and advocacy efforts of the American Heart Association.
Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks, including:
- Set-up and break down
- Registration
- Greeters
- Cheerleaders
- Hydration stations
- Bark park
- Survivor area
Before the event:
Volunteers must sign the provided waiver (PDF) below.
On the day of the event:
Volunteers arrive at 7 a.m. and attend an orientation upon arrival. This event takes place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately and wear comfortable sneakers! Breaks will be scheduled throughout the day.
