2023 Food Pantry Sorting for Teen Volunteers

Join Westchester Youth Alliance, in partnership with J-Teen Leadership, to combat food insecurity at HOPE Community Services. Teen volunteers will be sorting and packing food that will then be donated to families in the community.

This opportunity is open to high school students between the ages of 13-18. Space is limited, and teens will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; all volunteers must be registered in order to participate. Registration for this opportunity ends on October 1.

HOPE is a community service organization in New Rochelle that provides emergency food services, housing, children's supportive programming, and a full array of social services to all in the community who may need it, with dignity and respect.

J-Teen Leadership, a program of UJA-Federation, is dedicated to empowering and inspiring Jewish teens from all backgrounds. J-Teen Leadership's focus on leadership training, community service, and core Jewish values, engages teens so they can contribute to the Jewish community and the world.
