2023 Thanksgiving Package Delivery and Friendly Chat for Older Adults

DOROT Westchester's annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery brings hundreds of older adults and volunteers together to share warmth and companionship. On November 19, volunteers will pick up a Thanksgiving meal, deliver the meal to their assigned older adult, and then stay for a social visit or follow up with that older adult via phone for a friendly call. Express interest below to deliver a festive holiday meal and connect with an older neighbor!

All new package delivery volunteers will be required to attend a Zoom orientation on Tuesday, November 14 at 12:30 p.m. (invitation will be sent to registered volunteers closer to the project date). A valid U.S. government-issued photo ID is required to participate in this project.

Registration for this opportunity closes on November 12 to allow for enough time for training and prep work.
