Bilingual Food Pantry Volunteers

Peekskill Community Action Partnership (Peekskill CAP) is seeking bilingual volunteers who speak both English and Spanish to assist with its food pantry.

Volunteer tasks include:

  • Registering clients who arrive (data entry, collecting documents)
  • Retrieving food pantry deliveries
  • Sorting food and other pantry items
  • Stocking shelves, rotating inventory
  • Displaying food items for Client Choice Pantry
  • Assisting in distribution of food to clients
  • Assigning tasks to pantry volunteers
  • Unloading truck containing food deliveries
