Volunteer Counselors
VCS Inc. (formally Volunteer Counseling Services) provides accessible and affordable counseling services and family support programs for those who need it. VCS is seeking licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) to become trained counselors for its Volunteer Counselor Training Program. Volunteer Counselors will be trained on the VCS Model of Counseling to help provide more community members receive affordable counseling.
Volunteer requirements:
- Must be 21+
- Must be a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW)
- Must be able to commit at least 4 hours per month to provide counseling services
Licensed social workers who are bilingual—including Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers—are encouraged to express interest!
