2024 FAFSA Boot Camp Volunteers
Completing complicated financial aid applications, such as FAFSA and the NYS TAP, is a crucial step in the college admissions journey—and it's one that many low-income, first-generation students struggle with. Volunteers can help by supporting the families of local school districts as they complete and submit their FAFSA and NYS TAP applications.
Latino U College Access (LUCA) is looking for volunteers to assist first-generation students and their families with completing and submitting their financial aid applications. All volunteers are required to attend a virtual (Zoom) FAFSA & NYS TAP Training session.
This project requires volunteers to register on a separate website:
- Express interest below to record this opportunity in your Volunteer New York! profile and alert the volunteer coordinator.
