Pastry Delivery Drivers (Tuesdays)
Lifting Up Westchester (LUW) is seeking Volunteer Drivers who are able to provide transportation to pick up and deliver food in White Plains. Volunteer Drivers make only two stops—one at the pick-up location and one at the drop-off site (these are the same locations once a month)—and each delivery takes only one hour. The volunteer will be scheduled one Tuesday each month.
Volunteer Driver Requirements:
- Must be available on Tuesday mornings for at least 6 or more months
- Must be able to pick up between 8:45 a.m. and no later than 9:15 a.m.
- Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 20 pounds each
- Must use own insured vehicle
- Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions
These pastries will provide snacks for dining guests at Lifting Up Westchester's weekday Community Kitchen. Express interest below!
