Social Media Manager

Wartburg Adult Care community is looking for a talented and motivated volunteer Social Media Manager to spread the word about its mission to help seniors live their best lives through engaging and impactful social media strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Social media strategy: develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to promote the organization and its programs, reaching a diverse audience of supporters
• Content creation: craft compelling and engaging content that tells the story of Wartburg's impact on seniors' lives. This includes creating visually appealing digital and print materials
• Photography and editing: capture and edit photos to create visually stunning and authentic content that resonates with Wartburg's audience. Photography skills are a plus but not mandatory
• Newsletter creation: write and publish newsletters to keep Wartburg's supporters informed about its activities, achievements, and upcoming events
• Collaboration: work closely with the marketing and program teams to ensure alignment between organizational goals and social media messaging

Qualifications:

• Storytelling skills: strong ability to tell compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences
• Social media savvy: proficient in social media platforms, trends, and analytics
• Creative and technical writing: excellent creative and technical writing skills to produce engaging content
• Photography and editing: ability to take and edit photos for use in social media and promotional materials
• Newsletter management: experience in writing and publishing newsletters
