2024 EnviroThon at Croton Point Park
The Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Conservation and Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District are organizing the third annual Westchester County Regional EnviroThon for high schools on April 19, 2024 at Croton Point Park.
Volunteers are needed to help on both the day of the event and with logistics leading up to it. No experience is necessary, and lunch will be provided for those volunteering on site. Volunteers with a background or interest in environmental issues—such as renewable energy, forestry, wildlife, or soils—are also needed to assist with judging, administrating the tests, and scoring.
Westchester Parks Foundation engages the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use, and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails, and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system.
