Summer Fun in Hartley Park
Summer Fun in Hartley Park is a drop-in summer learning program for families who participate in the ParentChild+ home visiting program in Mount Vernon. Twice per week, staff set up an outdoor early learning program with educational resources and other activities. Volunteers are needed to help with setup and cleanup and to oversee activities.
Volunteer requirements:
- Must pass a background check
- Must be available on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. between June 18-August 8
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
