Weekend Puppy Foster Volunteers

Putnam Service Dogs is looking for Weekend Foster Volunteers to help provide the puppies who live at its training center in Brewster with loving weekend homes, additional life experiences, and socializing. Putnam Service Dogs' trainer will guide volunteers on how to care for and relate to the puppy.

Weekend Puppy Foster Volunteer requirements:

• Must be able to care for a puppy (ages 3 months to 2 years) from Friday afternoon or Saturday morning until Monday
• Must live within an hour of Brewster
• Must be willing to pick up the pup, along with its supplies, and drop it back off to the Center
• Must complete the application below and indicate they want to be a "Weekend Volunteer"
• Must be able to provide love and care to a puppy!

Weekend Puppy Foster Volunteers will be provided with all supplies, including a leash, harness, crate, toys, food, bowls, and a dog bed. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals as well as families, and volunteers can foster a puppy for an occasional weekend or as frequently as every weekend if they'd like.
