2024 Neighborhood Recycling Campaign Volunteers
Nyack 2030 Climate Action Plan calls for increasing recycling rates in Nyack. Village Administrator Andy Stewart, in collaboration with Rockland Green, has created a door hanger with a friendly message that will be delivered to households that have not placed recycling bins at the curb for pick up. By hanging these messages on local doorknobs, the village hopes to increase recycling rates in 2024.
Volunteers are needed to walk around their communities in the Nyack area to distribute these door hangers to encourage recycling. This project is perfect for teens who need service hours!
