2024 Youth Forum Game Night Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to assist with Family Services of Westchester's Youth Forum Game Night. Volunteers will help with event setup and cleanup, serve food, and play games with the students in the Youth Forum program. There will be board games, video games, and plenty of chances to interact with the attendees.
The Youth Forum provides support, advocacy and recreational opportunities for older adolescents and young adults ages 16 to 23, who have special needs, are currently receiving mental health services or have received them in the past. It is a peer-driven initiative where participants provide support for each other and learn to be advocates for their own needs. Youth Forum members participate in “Knowledge Nights” where they can gather and offer information and resources that foster independence.
