Opportunity Details

Clean Energy Installation Consultant

The Croton Sustainability Committee—chartered by Croton's Village Board of Trustees—is developing various renewable and energy efficiency energy projects funded through State grants.

The Committee needs help with basic design and cost for several projects. A volunteer with electrical engineering or construction is needed to provide input on installing EV chargers at the Croton train station, or input on the electrical aspect of solar arrays (both rooftop and canopy) and air-source heat pumps.

The Croton Sustainability Committee meets 10 times per year via Zoom. While committee membership would be ideal, an associate membership (no meetings needed) would also be allowed. An occasional site visit to a Croton municipal facility such as a park or building basement may also be required to perform these tasks.

This project is perfect for a retired electrical contractor or engineer looking to share their expertise with the community. Express interest below!
