Benefit Enrollment Assistants or Interns
Peekskill Community Action Partnership is seeking a Benefit Enrollment Assistant or Intern to help with enrolling seniors 65+ and/or persons with disabilities. The volunteer will make phone calls to clients and ask series of questions from the application. The assistant will then run this information through the benefit enrollment portal to generate a list of qualifying benefits that will be given to the clients.
This is the perfect opportunity for kind, empathetic volunteers with an attention to detail, telephone skills, and a desire to help seniors and people with disabilities learn about their benefits. This role can be served by a volunteer, an intern, or individual seeking community service hours. Volunteers can work both remotely and at the Peekskill Community Action Partnership office.
