2024 ReStore Anniversary Event Photographers
Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County's ReStore in Yonkers will be celebrating its one-year anniversary, and a professional photographer is needed to capture the various activities of the event as well as posed, candid, portrait, and group shots of guests.
Volunteer Photographer requirements:
- Must commit to 2+ hours on-site on Sunday, October 5 (any 2 hours between 11 a.m.-3 p.m.) plus post-production time
- Must provide samples of work (online portfolio, website, or social media account)
- Event experience preferred, but not required
- Must have ability to travel to site
- Must use own professional equipment
- Must have professional post-production ability
- Must send top 10 select images within 48 hours post-event; remaining photographs can be sent within the week
For 40 years, Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County has advanced a more just housing future by developing, preserving, and advocating for affordable homeownership. Proceeds from the sales at its ReStore—which offers donated overstock and secondhand items like furniture, appliances, and home décor at a discount—helps local families to build equity while helping to divert over 3,000 tons of household items from landfills.
