2024 Pumpkin Painting with Camp Morty

Celebrate the fall season with Westchester Parks Foundation and Camp Morty families by volunteering at this Pumpkin Painting event! Volunteers are needed to help set up tables; hand out paint, pumpkins, and supplies; and assist children with their creations.

Camp Morty is a summer camp for children between the ages of 8-15 years old who are receiving temporary services through Westchester County’s Department of Social Services. This one-week long sleepaway camp experience at Mountain Lakes Park is provided at zero cost to families. Camp Morty empowers Westchester children to become environmental stewards with a drive to learn, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.

What to know:

• Dress for the weather; check the forecast before leaving
• Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and items that can get dirty
• Bring your own reusable water bottle

Weather/cancellation policy:

• This event will be held rain or shine. In extreme weather cases, please check your email during the 24 hours leading up to the event.
