Outreach Volunteers
The Trip Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity based in New Rochelle, is looking for Fundraising Outreach Volunteers to help promote the organization's fall fundraising campaign. Proceeds help defray the cost of international and domestic field trips for public high school students from low-income communities in the New York City metropolitan area. This year, for example, the Foundation supported amazing journeys to South Korea and South Africa for students in the South Bronx and the Lower East Side of Manhattan, respectively.
Outreach Volunteers will raise awareness about the organization, its mission, excursions it has sponsored, and its fall campaign, which includes a Giving Tuesday silent auction of sensational trips for winning bidders: New Orleans, Las Vegas, California's wine country, Europe, the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic, Cancun, Maldives, Greece, Bali, and a South African safari. It is also raising funds to provide students with passports through its "Have Passport Will Travel" program. Volunteers will be provided promotional materials to work with.
