2024 Adopt a Family for the Holidays - Gift Support
Family Services of Westchester's annual Adopt-a-Family gift drive makes the holidays brighter for families who are unable to buy essentials and gifts during the holiday season. Donors are matched with an "adopted" family and they purchase items from their wish lists. These items are dropped off at Family Services of Westchester, where they are then prepared to be distributed to the families. This program makes a direct impact on families and gives them renewed sense of joy and hope.
Volunteers are needed to accept gift donations as donors drop them off, as well as distribute those gifts to case workers; the case workers will then make the deliveries to their families. Volunteers may be asked to help with occasional gift-wrapping, if needed.
