Host Family for International Teen in Rockland County

Program of Academic Exchange (PAX) is seeking a volunteer host family for the remainder of the academic year for a student attending Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg named Emma. Emma is a 15-year-old girl from Spain. She is fluent in English and is a merit scholar with lots of interests, including music, movies, acting, writing, and chess. Emma has her own medical insurance and spending money.

The ideal host family must:

• Reside in the Tappan Zee High School district (Orangeburg)
• Complete an application
• Complete an in-home interview and reference checks
• Submit to and pass a background check
• Provide a bed, three meals a day, and the love and support to make it a successful year for everyone
• Provide transportation or coordinate transportation to and from activities
