2024 Thanksgiving Day Meal Drive

One Paso, in collaboration with Project Inspire Yonkers and Eagle Eye Security's team of Thanksgiving heroes, is providing warm meals for individuals in the community this Thanksgiving. Volunteers are needed to supply hot meals—either homemade or store-bought—and drop them off at the community center to be distributed to families in need at local shelters.

Meal requirements:

• Cook or purchase hot meals of traditional American and Latin American Thanksgiving foods (including macaroni and cheese, lasagna, yams, rice and peas, fried chicken, pernil, empanadas, potato salad, desserts, and more)
• Non-alcoholic beverages, utensils, serving spoons, and napkins will also be accepted
• All food MUST be cooked; uncooked food will not be allowed
• Foods containing nuts must be labeled as such

These meals will help brighten a local family or individual's holiday!

This is a self-directed project:

2. Cook or purchase the desired types of foods (see examples above) and collect non-alcoholic beverages or utensils (if providing)
