Social Media Ambassadors

MAC Angels Foundation is seeking volunteer social media ambassadors to help spread awareness of its important services for those impacted by ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, formerly known as Lou Gehrig's disease).

Key responsibilities may include:

• Content creation: developing and posting creative social media content (text, images, videos) across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, BlueSky, LinkedIn, etc.
• Community engagement: actively interacting with followers through comments, replies, and direct messages to foster connections to the ALS community and referrals to MAC Angels for support needs
• Campaign participation: promoting specific marketing campaigns through targeted social media posts and engaging with campaign hashtags
• Trend analysis: staying updated on current social media trends and incorporating them into content strategies to maximize reach
• Reporting and analytics: tracking key metrics like impressions, engagement, and reach to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
• Event participation: attending events, conferences, or meetups to capture content and engage with potential customers

Required skills:

• Strong social media presence with a substantial following on relevant platforms
• Excellent writing and communication skills to craft compelling captions and posts
• Creativity and visual storytelling abilities to produce engaging content
• Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
• Ability to analyze data and adapt strategies based on performance insights
• Passion for helping people impacted by ALS
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with online communities effectively
