2025 Funminster Dog Show Event Assistant
Putnam Service Dogs lifts up two lives: the rescue dog it trains, and the rescue dog's "person"; someone with physical disabilities other than blindness, or a veteran with PTSD. Its 6th Annual Funminster Dog Show is a popular event showcasing pet dogs who compete in 10 fun categories, including "Best Tail," "Best Ears," "Shaggiest Coat," and more. There will be a food truck and a deejay as well.
Putnam Service Dogs is seeking a friendly, people-oriented Funminster Dog Show Event Assistant to help procure sponsors for this fundraiser event. The Event Assistant will be provided scripts, coaching, and a list of prospects from which to solicit support, including area veterinarians, pet supply stores, and businesses. Volunteers do not need any prior fundraising experience—just to be detail-oriented, organized, and believe in Putnam Service Dogs' mission!
This is a virtual volunteer opportunity that averages 2-5 hours per week. Volunteers are invited to attend and assist with the Funminster Dog Show event on April 12 in Patterson as well.
