Understanding Hunger

Volunteer New York! Presents: Understanding Hunger in our Communities. Hunger is an issue in every Westchester community. Did you know that one in three people in Westchester is food insecure? There are multiple ways you can work to reduce hunger in Westchester. Join us to learn directly from our partners how you can help.

At the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, we will join representatives from Hilltop Hanover Farms, County Harvest, Westchester Children's Association, and Feeding Westchester to explore the state of hunger in Westchester, as well as discuss opportunities for you to volunteer, raise awareness, and donate that fit your time and resources.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a box (or more) of cereal to help re-stock the pantry shelves. Community service hours will be given to students who request them. Sign up below!
