2025 Juneteenth Festival
Parenting Children of Color is seeking volunteers to help with its annual Juneteenth Celebration. All volunteers will receive a snack and bottle of water.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Event Set-Up (12-1 p.m.): setting up tables, chairs, and tents
- Event Signage (12-1 p.m.): hanging banners and signs
- Guest Experience (1-5 p.m.) engaging with visitors, including encouraging them to visit the different stations, buy food, listen to music, etc.
- Activity Stations (1-5 p.m.): helping at different stations, including selling food and water, distributing information
- Event Clean-Up (5-6 p.m.): tearing down tables, chairs, and tents
Requirements:
- Age minimum 18+
- A fair amount of physical activity may be required, especially in setting up and cleaning up
