Skippers Angel Wings

Our mission is to improve the lives of children with cancer and any other life-threatening illnesses. To provide support to the families and other primary caregivers who care for these children. Is a non-profit organization since 2003, based in Westchester County, New York has continued to grow so we can help more families fighting for the lives of their critically-ill children. To provide food and other basic necessities, and financial grants to low-income families whose children are battling a life-threatening illness and to provide support to the families and other primary caregivers who care for these children. What we aim to solve: Skippers Angel Wings is one of the only organizations on the East Coast providing financial assistance to families who are fighting for their child's life. A recent Harvard study concluded that the number one reason people go bankrupt is medical bills, even though 72% of families filing for bankruptcy had major medical insurance. Skippers Angel Wings helps critically ill children and their families stay strong and together, by keeping the lights on and a roof over their heads. Based in Westchester County, NY, the organization was founded in 2003 and continues to expand its reach by serving children receiving treatment.
